GROGREEN Brassica fertiliser is a concentrated foliar fertiliser formulated for crops in the brassica family. The packs shown are labelled NPK 9-9-39 + 6.6 MgO + 53.9 SO₃, with trace elements and pH 2.3. Dawn Farmers has the product in 200 g and 1 kg packs.
How GROGREEN Brassica fertiliser supports crop nutrition
The formula supplies nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, with a high potassium proportion, magnesium, sulphur and trace elements. GROGREEN identifies cabbage, cauliflower and other Brassicaceae crops among the intended uses. Its product information describes the formula as designed to support nutrition during head and curd formation, healthy foliage and crop development. Results depend on the crop, soil, weather and overall crop management.
Use GROGREEN Brassica fertiliser as part of a balanced nutrition programme. It does not replace good soil preparation, appropriate basal fertiliser or sound irrigation and crop care. Choose the 200 g or 1 kg pack according to your farm’s requirements.
How to apply GROGREEN Brassica fertiliser
- Shake well before use.
- GROGREEN’s Brassica nutrition guide lists a foliar concentration of 2–3 g per litre of water. Check the directions on your Kenyan pack before mixing, as the local label takes priority.
- Spray during cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon.
- Cover the leaves evenly while avoiding excessive runoff.
- Before tank mixing with another product, do a compatibility test. The manufacturer advises against mixing with alkaline materials, combustibles, reducing agents or products containing calcium.
