Tihan OD175

Active Ingredients: Spirotetramat 75g/L + Flubendiamide 100g/L

Tihan OD 175 is a systemic insecticide. After foliar uptake, it is translocated within the entire vascular system, i.e it moves upwards and downwards (two-way system).

Recommended Rates:

-Tomato (Tuta Absoluta): Use 8ml/20 Litres water (0.3 -0.4 litre/Ha in 1000). Apply at first sign of insects.

-Tomato: (Aphids, Thrips): Use 4ml/20 Litres water (0.15-0.2 Ltr/Ha). Apply at first signs of infestation, maximum 3 times 7 days apart.

-French beans (Aphids, Thrips): Use 6-8ml/20 Litre of water (0.15-0.2 Ltr/Ha). Apply at first signs of infestation, maximum 3 times 7 days apart.

-Cotton (Mealybugs): Use 6-8ml/20 Litre water (0.15-0.2 Ltr/Ha). Apply at first signs of infestation, maximum 3 times 7 days apart.

NB: TIHAN OD 175 is applied as a foliar spray using a water volume of 500-1000 litres of water per Ha but ensure the crop is well covered.

1. Tomato

Target pests: Whiteflies, aphids, thrips, leafminers, caterpillars
Rate: 30–40 ml per 20 L water (≈1.5 L/ha)
Timing:

• First spray at early pest appearance (usually 2–3 weeks after transplanting)

• Repeat after 10–14 days depending on pest pressure
  Pre-harvest interval (PHI): 7 days

Tip: Alternate with other molecules (e.g. spirotetramat-free or diamide-free options) to avoid resistant.

🥬 2. Cabbage & Other Brassicas (kale, broccoli, cauliflower)

Target pests: Diamondback moth, aphids, thrips, whiteflies
Rate: 30 ml per 20 L water
Timing:

• Spray at early pest detection

• Repeat every 10–14 days or as needed
  PHI: 7 days

Tip: Tihan is ideal for mixed infestations — controls both sucking (aphids) and chewing (caterpillars) pests simultaneously.

🌶️ 3. Capsicum / Chilli

Target pests: Thrips, whiteflies, aphids, fruit borers
Rate: 35 ml per 20 L water
Timing:

• Begin when first signs of pest damage appear

• Repeat after 10–14 days
  PHI: 10 days

🫘 4. French Beans

Target pests: Aphids, thrips, leafminers, pod borers
Rate: 30 ml per 20 L water
Timing:

• First spray at vegetative stage or pest appearance

• Repeat every 7–10 days
  PHI: 7 days

🌾 5. Cotton

Target pests: Whiteflies, bollworms, jassids
Rate: 1.5 L/ha (≈35 ml/20 L water)
Timing:

• Apply at pest appearance

• Repeat after 14 days if needed
